Owner Condition and Value Survey ....

This type of inspection is a comprehensive, videography and consultation service offered by
J.N. Allinson Associates, Inc.
It draws upon on knowlege from practical experiences of handling Damage Claims, surveys of similar boats, and keeping up with the most current GUIDELINES OF SURVEY and Recommended Survey Report Content listed below.

It is recommended to individuals who are scheduling to have their vessel for hauled
for annual maintenance.

The primary objective of the Owner Condition and Value survey is to inspect and report  on
enough of the vessel while documenting its systems so that a future "Report of Survey" can be produced
to.
  • Identify items that should be repaired under manufacturer warranty,
  • Learn about products and ideas that enhance both the value and enjoyment of your boat,
  • Prioritize what should be renewed or repaired,
  • Help you develop a preventative timely and cost effective maintenance plan instead of running equipment and systems to failure,
  • Offer proof to an insurance company that your vessel has been recently inspected and valued.
  • Use for a Seller Condition and Value Survey.
Terms of the Owner Condition and Value Survey are stated within the Contractual Agreement
authorizing J.N. Allinson Associates, Inc. to perform the Report of Survey.


GUIDELINES OF SURVEY:

THE MANDATORY STANDARDS PROMULGATED BY THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG),
UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF TITLE 46 UNITED STATES CODE (USC); TITLE 33 AND TITLE 46,
CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR), AND THE VOLUNTARY STANDARDS AND RECOMMENDED PRACTICES DEVELOPED BY THE AMERICAN BOAT AND YACHT COUNCIL (ABYC) AND THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) ARE USED AS GUIDELINES IN CONDUCTING SURVEYS.
