   "JACK is  BACK"  ... in April-May 2010 JACK was back in  South Africa for Pre-Delivery inspection and commissioning of CRANSTACKIE a ADMIRAL 40 in Elliot Basin and Infrared Thermal inspections of hull and decks of boats in the factory. Significant changes have been made to the latest ADMIRAL 40 with improved rudder design and longer and strenghtened integral keels.

CRANSTACKIE is a 2010 model year and represents the 1st
ADMIRAL 40 were the contractual agreement called for complete conformity to the following ABYC July 2009-10 standards and CE requirements.  The results of these demands  has produced the best ADMIRAL JACK has seen in over ten (10) years.  The CRANSTACKIE project will be completed in a couple of months with a Post-Delivery inspection (in and out of water) when the boat arrives at its final destination in the Caribbean. This inspection will document changes in the condition of the boat after over 30 days of wear and tear from the Trans Atlantic crossing.  Daily progress of CRANSTACKIE's crossing will be monitoried using J.N. Allinson Associates, Inc. JAX--TRAX  worldwide INMARSAT satellite tracking services.  Tracking results show that CRANSTACKIE started her journey on
Saturday May 15 2010 @ 04:55:07 AM.

While in country this time JACK also traveled to the Durban Boat Show and met with builders of the KNYSNA 480 and the MATRIX 420 VISION. While in Capetown, factory visits were made to Robertson & Caine, MATRIX Yachts and ADMIRAL Yachts.
